Dominic Magdaluyo has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2006 at R&R Studios as an Animator & Editor. In 2011, they joined Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC as a Quality Assurance Analyst, where they earned Top Performer during the month of May, 2012. In 2014, they began working at American Transportation as a Dispatcher and Courier. From 2016 to 2021, they held a variety of roles at Armature Systems, Google, Santa Clara University, Bottleshake, and Oracle. At Armature Systems, they are currently employed as a Security Automation Engineer. At Google, they worked as a Software Engineer, writing design documents, implementing new features, and writing experiments. At Santa Clara University, they served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Student Network Technician. At Bottleshake, they worked as a QA/Development Intern. At Oracle, they held two internships, as a NetSuite Product Manager and Software Engineer Intern and a Solutions Engineer Intern. Lastly, they were an Instructor at MV Code Club, introducing programming topics and concepts to students.
Dominic Magdaluyo has a diverse educational background. Dominic obtained a Diploma from St. Ignatius College Preparatory and studied Animation at De Anza College. Dominic then attended City College of San Francisco and earned an Associate of Science (AS) in Computer Science. After that, they attended Santa Clara University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science & Engineering, followed by a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science & Engineering. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: a Lacework Shield Academy | Lacework Service Partner Associate from Lacework in December 2022 and a Trained Mentor from Mentor Collective in February 2021.
