Reema Elziq

Reema Elziq has a diverse work background, beginning with a 2nd Grade Teacher position at ILM Academy in 2010. Reema then worked as an Oral Surgery Intern at Gardner Family Health Network in 2011, followed by an Epidemiology Research Assistant position at UCSF. In the same year, they were a Science and Math Teacher at As-Safa Academy. In 2014, they were a Process Engineer at Zyomyx and a Graduate Teaching Associate at San Jose State University. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Process Engineering Intern at Abaxis, Incorporated and then a Director of Operations and Chief Operating Officer at Armature Systems, Inc.

Reema Elziq earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Public Health and Epidemiology from the University of California, Berkeley in 2010. Reema then went on to receive a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biomedical Engineering from San Jose State University in 2016.
