Hugh Wang

Hugh Wang is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in Python and cloud technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Python/Cloud Software Engineer at AFBA since April 2017, Hugh Wang is responsible for maintaining and developing websites using Python and Flask. Prior to this, Hugh Wang worked at MicroStrategy from January 1999 to April 2017 as a Software Configuration Management Specialist, where responsibilities included designing and implementing software builds and release processes, as well as writing build scripts in Python and Perl. Hugh Wang began a career in research as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, focusing on software for Chinese handwriting recognition and assembly language code debugging. Academically, Hugh Wang holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (1996 - 1998) and a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (1993 - 1995).
