Mark Anthony Cassar is a Captain with extensive experience in the Armed Forces of Malta since June 2014, serving as a Military Liaison Officer at the FRONTEX Situation Centre and the FRONTEX Joint Operation Triton. Cassar has coordinated numerous search and rescue and maritime security training courses for both national and international participants, collaborating with EUNAVFORMED Operation Sophia and the Swiss Government. Previously, Cassar held the title of Visiting Lecturer at Global College Malta from February 2019 to February 2021. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Diploma in Public International Maritime Law from the International Maritime Law Institute and a Master's degree in Strategy, Leadership, and Change Management from Global College Malta. Additionally, Cassar has completed several specialized military training courses related to international maritime law.
