Amitay Svetlit

Amitay Svetlit is a seasoned software architect with extensive experience in application infrastructure, currently serving at Armis since September 2019. In this role, Amitay leads the company's Kafka infrastructure, facilitating the handling of millions of events per second. Prior to Armis, Amitay was a senior software engineer at PlayStation, contributing to the core OAuth Service, and at Intuit, where migration to a modern microservices architecture was implemented. As a co-founder and VP of R&D at MailWise, Amitay developed an innovative email client and oversaw algorithmic engine development. Earlier experience includes leadership roles at Elbit Systems Ltd, managing cyber-system projects, and various software development positions within the IDF. Amitay holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
