Balkar Jagpal

Balkar Jagpal, P.Eng., is a senior embedded software engineer and value stream technical lead at Armstrong Fluid Technology since March 2021, focusing on planning, estimating, and managing work within an Agile team while defining technical solutions that enhance product value. Previously, Balkar served as an embedded software engineer at KATERRA from July 2019 to January 2021, where responsibilities included designing critical controls firmware for an advanced AI-driven heat pump. Balkar's experience also includes nearly a decade as an embedded controls engineer at CGC Group - Bulldog Heat Pump, where design and programming of firmware for HVAC equipment were key roles, and earlier work as a technical product manager at TVM Building Products Inc. involved ensuring compliance with industry standards for building envelope components.
