Athena Beck

Athena Beck has a diverse background in various roles, currently serving as an Accounts Payable Clerk and Sales Professional at Armstrong Garden Centers, Inc. since January 2019, where responsibilities include plant stewardship and sales strategy. Prior to this, Athena held multiple positions at Pomona College from September 2016 to December 2018, including Retail Office Clerk and assistant roles across the Farm, Mailroom, and Coop Store. Additional experience includes a fellowship at Quaker Voluntary Service from September 2015 to May 2016, managing student vehicles for Associated Students of Pomona College, and working as a Desk Services Assistant at Honnold-Mudd Library. Athena began a career path in open space policy research as an intern at the Council for Watershed Health and gained early experience through an internship at YellowBrickRoad Communications. Athena earned a degree in Dance from Pomona College, attending from 2013 to 2018, following education at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School.
