Roger Hughes

Roger Hughes is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector. Serving as the Director of Plant Architectures and Technologies at Armstrong Group of Companies since November 2008, Roger has specialized in engineering fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) plant solutions, including RF over Glass (RFoG) and Gigabit Passive Optical Networks (GePON). In January 2023, Roger was promoted to Director/Principal Engineer of Technology at Armstrong, a position held until retirement in January 2025. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Communications from Point Park University and an Associate of Applied Science in Electronics Technology from Butler County Community College.
