Stephen Wigginton

Stephen "Steve" Wigginton is a Partner at Armstrong Teasdale LLP since January 2016, specializing in large commercial class action suits, corporate malfeasance litigation, white collar criminal defense, and internal investigations. From August 2010 to December 2015, Wigginton served as the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois after being nominated by President Barack Obama. Prior to that, Wigginton was a Partner at Weilmuenster & Wigginton, P.C. for a decade and held various roles including Assistant State’s Attorney and Associate in multiple law firms. Wigginton began a legal career in the City of St. Louis’ Circuit Attorney’s Office and has experience in legal counsel for May Department Stores Company. Wigginton earned legal education from Saint Louis University School of Law and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
