Mike Drexler

Mike Drexler is an accomplished Quality and Process Engineering Manager at Armstrong World Industries, with a career beginning in April 2012 and including key roles such as Value Stream Manager and Sr Process Engineer. In the current position, Mike manages all aspects of quality for the plant and oversees seven Process Engineers, focusing on both immediate and long-term improvements, as well as cost reduction. Previous achievements include a significant reduction of product quality claims by 70% and leading a successful transition of a $10 million capital project to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency. Mike also served as Quality Management Representative at Active Minerals International, where ISO certification was maintained through the first surveillance audit. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Georgia College & State University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from The University of Georgia.
