Thomas Gustafson

Thomas Gustafson is a seasoned Senior Health Policy Advisor at Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP, specializing in Medicare reimbursement and health policy issues since July 2008. Previously, Gustafson held the position of Senior Health Policy Advisor at Arent Fox LLP and served for over two decades at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, including roles as Deputy Director of the Center for Medicare Management, where substantial Medicare policies affecting $300 billion were developed. Additional experience includes significant positions in the Department of Health and Human Services and at The Boston Consulting Group. Gustafson holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University and a B.A. in Economics from Williams College.
