Alessandro Franzosi

Alessandro Franzosi has been executive director of the Mondadori Group since May 2020 and Group Chief Financial Officer since June 2020.

Born in Milan in 1964, with a degree in Economics from Bocconi University, in 1990 Franzosi joined the holding company Fininvest SpA, where he initially dealt with strategic planning, before moving to the Corporate Development department in 1994.

Since 1995 he has been with Olivetti Telemedia, in the Business Development area and, subsequently, moves to the internet and multimedia division with the position of CFO. In 1997 he joined the M&A department of Banca Imi, with a focus on the Media and Telecommunications sectors.

He has been with Morgan Stanley since 1999, of which he becomes Managing Director in 2005.

After more than 10 years, he moved to Société Générale, wherein 2010 he took on the position of head of M&A activities for Italy and then returned in 2013 to Fininvest SpA with the position of Corporate Finance and Business Development director.
