Paola Elisabetta Galbiati

Paola Elisabetta Galbiati, born in Milan on January 12, 1958, after graduating in Business Administration from Bocconi University, follows an International Teachers' Program at the London Business School.

Chartered accountant and official auditor and author of books and scientific publications, since 1996 she has been a tenured professor of Corporate Finance at Bocconi University.

Before holding administrative positions in many listed companies, from 1982 to 2005 she was project manager and team leader at Brugger & Associati (formerly Finlexis); from 2004 to 2006 she was Chief Executive Officer of Dianos SpA and from 2006 to 2012 she was Independent Consultant in AlixPartners.

Paola Elisabetta Galbiati has been a member of the Board of Directors of Arnoldo Mondadori Editore since April 2021.

She is also an independent director of Illimity Bank, where she holds the position of Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and is a member of the Sustainability Committee; Independent director of Illimity Sgr SpA and Unieuro SpA, where she is a member of the Internal Control and Risk Management Committee and of the Sustainability Committee; Director of the Dr. Ambrosoli Memorial Hospital Foundation.
