Navid Taghavi, PhD, has extensive experience in research and development, currently serving as a Research and Development Scientist at Aroa Biosurgery Limited since July 2021. Prior to this role, Navid worked as a Research Assistant at The University of Auckland from December 2018 to July 2021, focusing on cellulose nanofiber production and its applications in phase-change materials. Navid also held the position of Graduate Teaching Assistant during the same period at The University of Auckland. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Chemical Engineering from The University of Auckland, a Master of Science in Biotechnology from the University of Kent, and a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Tehran Azad Medical University.
