Yawar Mehboob

Yawar Mehboob has over 16 years of experience in the financial services industry. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as an Analyst/Intern at Commerzbank AG. Yawar then moved on to GE Capital as an Analyst from 2006 to 2007. After that, they joined The Royal Bank of Scotland - Non-Core Division, where they held the roles of Associate Director, Portfolio Management and Associate from 2007 to 2012. In 2012, they took on the role of Asset Management - STEF Legacy Portfolio Management at Barclays Investment Bank. In 2014, Yawar founded Cake Masters Magazine and served as Owner & Director. In 2015, they returned to Barclays Investment Bank as VP - Portfolio Management, Barclays Non Core - Illiquid Asset, responsible for a c£8bn book of performing and non-performing loan book. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at EY in the Financial Services sector. Currently, Yawar is Co-founder & CFO at Arogga since 2022.

Yawar Mehboob attended Brunel University London from 2002 to 2006, graduating with a Bsc in Business Management- Computing Bsc.
