Michael Hollstein

Michael Hollstein has a diverse work experience in the field of spatial design and creativity. Michael is currently serving as a Jurymitglied BA Spatial Design at HSLU Hochschule Luzern starting from 2023. Previously, they worked at Aroma as a Creative Director and later as the Leiter Kreation/Art Director Szenografie from 2010 to 2019. Before that, they held the position of Projektleiter Szenografie at Fabritastika Gestaltungsatelier AG from 2006 to 2010.

Michael Hollstein obtained their first education qualification in 1987 from the Gestalterische Lehrberufe, where they earned a degree in Dekorationsgestalter. From 1992 to 1993, Hollstein attended the Schule für Gestaltung Zürich for a Gestalterischer Vorkurs, although the field of study is unspecified. Michael then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Werklehrer, Art and Mediation from the HGKZ Schule für Gestaltung Zürich, completing their studies in 1998. In 1998-1999, they furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Advanced Studies degree in Scenography from ZHdK. Finally, in 2019, Hollstein attended the Hofakademie for a Führungslehrgang and was awarded a Zertifikat.
