Joe Kopania

Joe Kopania is an experienced turf management professional currently serving as the Greens Department Assistant Superintendent at Aronimink Golf Club since May 2018. In this role, Joe has played a key part in preparing for and executing the PGA Tour Event, including tasks such as mowing greens, hand watering, and staging equipment for a large crew. Previous experiences include an internship at Merion Golf Club, where Joe gained skills in herbicide application and machinery operation, and a position as a Groundskeeper at Bucks County Country Club, focusing on landscape maintenance and basic course upkeep. Joe holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Turf and Turfgrass Management from Penn State University, earned in 2019.
