Jakob Hvam

Jakob Hvam has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jakob started their career as a Tømrersvend at Marselis Tømrer og Snedker in 2008. After that, they worked as an Erhvervspraktikant and Byggeledelse at A. Enggaard A/S in 2012. In 2013, they worked as an Underviser at AARHUS TECH. Jakob then joined ARoS Aarhus Kunstmuseum in 2014, where they held the position of Udstillingstekniker before being promoted to Head of Facility and Security. In this role, they were responsible for managing a team of 80 employees and overseeing various projects and collaborations with national and international museums and partners. Some of the notable projects they worked on include The Next Level, Europæisk kulturhovedstad 2017, and Visionsplan2020. Jakob also contributed to exhibitions such as Bacon, Freud, and the London painters, The Garden, Past Pressent, Future, and J. F.

Jakob Hvam's education history begins in 2002 at Aarhus Tech, where they pursued an HTX degree. Jakob completed their studies in 2005. Following this, from 2005 to 2008, Hvam attended Træfagenes Byggeuddannelse, specializing in Tømreruddannelsen. After completing this program, they went on to VIA University College in 2009 and graduated in 2013 with a Professionsbachelor degree in Bygningskonstruktør.
