Josh Beatty

Josh Beatty has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Josh is currently the Founder and CEO of around AR, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to this, Josh worked as the Brand and Digital Strategy Director at Yamamoto from January 2019 to October 2021. Before that, they founded and served as the CEO of modulR, an Inc. 500 award-winning company, from 2010 to 2019. Josh also worked as the Head of Strategy at mindsalt from April 2008 to December 2009. Earlier in their career, they held a strategy role at Doe Anderson from 2003 to 2008. In 2002, Josh wrote, edited, and managed for Cycle Sport Magazine. Josh started their career as a Backcountry Trail Instructor at YMCA Camp Widjiwagan from 2000 to 2001.

Josh Beatty attended Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a B.S. degree. Josh pursued dual degrees in Marketing and Entrepreneurship in the Honors Division. Additionally, in January 2019, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Stanford University.
