Todd Smith

Todd Smith is a seasoned Senior Storage Engineer with extensive experience in infrastructure management and storage solutions. Currently at Melbourne IT since April 2013, Todd oversees the management and monitoring of various EMC arrays and IBM SVC clusters across multiple data centers in Australia and the US. Previously, Todd held the same title at Tatts Group, where responsibilities included the creation and maintenance of shared infrastructure services for strategic business units. Todd's career began at the University of the Sunshine Coast, serving as an Infrastructure Specialist and achieving significant milestones such as establishing a second data center and implementing a VMware-based hypervisor layer. Earlier positions also include a role as a Systems Administrator at The Future Group, where Todd supported integrated LANs in educational and commercial settings. Todd holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from the University of New England.
