Ali Elfakharany

Ali Elfakharany has a diverse work experience in finance and sports data. Ali currently holds the position of VP of Product at StatsBomb, starting in March 2023. Prior to this role, they were the Head of Data Product and Co-Founder at StatsBomb from May 2019 to March 2023. Before joining StatsBomb, Ali co-founded ArqamFC in 2017, where they served as CEO & Co-Founder. ArqamFC was acquired by StatsBomb in early 2019. Additionally, they worked as an Investment Analyst at BECO Capital from May 2016 to May 2017. Ali also gained experience as an Investment Banking Intern at EFG Hermes from September 2015 to April 2016. Moreover, they worked as a Fixed Income Operations Co-op at SCS Financial from June 2014 to November 2014, and as a Treasury Department Co-op at the Central Bank of Egypt from July 2013 to December 2013.

From 2011 to 2015, Ali Elfakharany attended Northeastern University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Finance and Entrepreneurship.
