Geoffrey Taylor

Before co-founding Arqit, Geoffrey spent a 43-year career at GCHQ, in the last 22 years as a Main Board Director. Dr Taylor was made a Companion of The Order of the Bath in 2006 for contribution to national security and economic well-being of the UK and in 2016 was awarded the US National Security Agency Director's Medal for outstanding contribution to UK-US Special Relationship. After reading Natural Sciences at Cambridge University, Geoffrey took a PhD in Quantum Molecular Dynamics at Leicester University.
