Laurie Patten has a diverse and extensive work experience within the media and communications industries. Starting in 1993, they worked as an Economist for the UK Government until 1999. Laurie then joined Spectrum Value Partners, where they held various roles as Senior Manager, including head of media in Hong Kong. In 2008, they became a Principal at ITN Consulting, providing strategy and operational expertise to the global media industry. Laurie joined Arqiva in 2012, initially as Head of Strategy - Broadcast and Media, and later as Director of Strategy and Ventures, Director of Strategy, Ventures, Product and Marketing, and currently as Director of Strategy and Regulation. In addition to their role at Arqiva, Laurie has served as a Board Director for Digital UK, YouView TV Limited, and Freeview. Laurie has also worked as a Non Executive Director for Together TV.
Laurie Patten obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham, studying from 1990 to 1993. Later, in 1996-1997, they pursued a Master's degree in Economics at The University of British Columbia.
