Jorge Hernan Ramirez has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Jorge Hernan has held various positions in different companies, showcasing their expertise in finance and investment management.

Starting their career at Compañía de Profesionales de Bolsa S.A in 2001, Ramirez worked as a Financial Adviser and broker dealer. Jorge Hernan successfully increased the number of corporate clients and was promoted to be a senior sales trader of the institutional dealing desk.

Ramirez joined Suma Valores S.A in 2003, where they played a crucial role in setting up a new stock-broking company as a team leader of the institutional trading desk. During their time there, they led the company to achieve its break-even point and implemented market-making methodologies for illiquid assets.

In 2004, Ramirez became an Investment Advisor of The Institutional Desk at Corredores Asociados S.A, gaining experience in advising institutional clients on investment strategies.

Ramirez then moved on to Compañía de Profesionales de Bolsa in 2010, this time being nominated as the head of the fixed-income dealing desk. Their responsibilities included trade origination and allocation of fixed-income securities, as well as monitoring world capital markets and economic data.

In 2011, Ramirez worked as an Associate at Curve Securities Pty Ltd, where they specialized in brokering interest rate products and monitoring capital markets.

From 2012 to 2013, Ramirez served as the Head of the Institutional Desk - Fixed Income, Managed Funds, and Private Equity Projects at Compañía Profesionales de Bolsa. Jorge Hernan managed a team responsible for distributing financial securities and products among institutional investors and financial institutions. Jorge Hernan also participated in investment analysis, research, and risk control.

In 2013, Ramirez joined Grupo Empresarial Grodco as the Director of Structured Finance (Project Finance). Their role involved structuring, planning, and financing infrastructure projects both locally and internationally. Jorge Hernan was recognized for their work on the Best Infrastructure Financing project in Central America by LatinFinance in 2015.

Moving on to Grupo Empresarial Grodco (Concesiones) in 2015, Ramirez worked as a Financial Advisory, offering their expertise in financial matters.

From 2016 to 2017, Ramirez worked at Empresa de Energía de Bogotá as a Project Manager (Advisor VP Investments). Jorge Hernan managed M&A transactions, project financing, and portfolio performance, while also leading the valuation process of holding companies.

Currently, Ramirez is working as the CFO and Manager at Arquitectura & Concreto since 2017, responsible for the financial management and operations of the company.

Jorge Hernan Ramirez obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Universidad EAFIT, where they enrolled from 1995 to 2001. Following this, they pursued further education and completed a Master's Degree in Financial Analysis at UNSW. This degree was obtained during their time at UNSW from 2008 to 2009.
