Emily Schutsky

Scientist Ii, RNA Biochemistry at Arrakis Therapeutics

Emily Schutsky has over 4 years of experience in the field of biochemistry. Emily began their career in 2018 as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Washington - School of Medicine, in the Laboratory of Daniel B. Stetson. During their time there, they developed novel agonists and elucidated mechanisms of viral nucleic acid sensing pathways for use in potentiating cancer immunotherapies. In 2022, they joined Arrakis Therapeutics as a Scientist, RNA Biochemistry.

Emily Schutsky attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Emily then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine from 2012 to 2018, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics.
