Amber Ray has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and business development. Amber began their career in 2006 as an Integrated Supply Chain Intern at Honeywell Aerospace. In 2007, they joined Caterpillar Inc. as part of their Manufacturing Professional Development Program and held various positions, such as Manufacturing Engineer, Lean Specialist, and Logistics Distribution Center Supervisor. In 2010, they moved to Solar Turbines where they worked as a Supplier Development Engineer and Senior Buyer. In 2014, they joined CEB as a Director for their Sales, Marketing, and Communications Practice. In 2016, they became an Enterprise Relationship Manager at LinkedIn. In 2018, they joined Invenergy LLC as a Renewable Development Manager. In 2020, they joined CityBase, Inc. as a Director of Implementation and Senior Project Manager. Currently, they are the Director of Client Solutions Engineering at Array.
Amber Ray attended Purdue University from 2002 to 2006, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Industrial Engineering with a Minor in Management. Amber then attended the University of San Diego from 2011 to 2014, earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a Managerial Leadership Concentration. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from the Project Management Institute as a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) and from Caterpillar Inc. as a Six Sigma Black Belt.
