Marina Martínez Bartolomé, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in various scientific roles. Marina is currently working as a Senior Scientist CRO at ARRAYS FOR CELL NANODEVICES, SL - A4CELL since April 2023. Previously, they worked as a Light Microscopy Specialist at ZEISS Microscopy from May 2021 to April 2023. In 2021, they also worked as a CiberesUCICOVID Data Manager at Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red CIBER. Prior to that, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at IRCAN - Institute for Research on Cancer and Aging, Nice from September 2020 to January 2021.

Marina has also gained experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Auburn University from January 2019 to May 2020, where they focused on the functional study of the Wnt signaling network in sea urchin embryos. Marina also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Vertebrate Development course during this time.

Earlier in their career, Marina was a Graduate Research Assistant at Mississippi State University from January 2017 to August 2018, conducting research on the Wnt signaling network in sea urchin embryos. Marina also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for various biology courses and mentored a scholar through a research project.

Marina's work experience also includes being a Science Teacher at Academia Torrejon for a brief period in 2014. Marina gained research experience as a Graduate Student at CSIC from May 2013 to July 2014, where they collaborated in the Department of Mycology and completed their Master's Thesis on fungal species in endangered reptile eggs.

Additionally, Marina has served as a Research Coordinator for the ASVO Sea Turtle Conservation Project in Montezuma, Costa Rica in 2013. In this role, they led a team, conducted research, implemented environmental education projects, and performed administrative tasks.

In 2014, they attended Auburn University and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Developmental Biology and Embryology. Marina continued their education at Auburn University until 2020.

In 2019, Marina Martínez Bartolomé attended the University of Chicago and participated in the Embryology: Concepts and Techniques in Modern Developmental Biology Course. This course focused on Developmental Biology and Embryology.

In 2012 and 2013, they studied at Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo and earned a Master's Degree in Biodiversity in Tropical Regions and its Conservation. Their field of study during this time was Biology/Biological Sciences, General.

From 2008 to 2012, Marina Martínez Bartolomé attended Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and obtained a degree in Environmental Science. Their field of study was Environmental Science.
