Mike Sippel

Mike Sippel is a seasoned professional in motion picture technology with extensive experience spanning over a decade and a half. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer in Technologies and Applications at ARRI Rental since February 2016, Mike specializes in developing innovative devices to enhance production capabilities and creative expression. Previously, Mike held the role of Senior Specialist at ARRI Rental, focusing on technical strategies and quality standards for camera operations in North America. As a Motion Picture Technology Consultant since 2006, Mike has worked on various aspects of production, including workflow design and systems integration. Prior roles include Technical Operations Manager at CINEVERSE Rentals, where Mike designed a specialized rental facility, and Director of Engineering at Fletcher Chicago, leading significant revenue growth and supporting notable film projects. Mike's early career includes experience as a 2nd Assistant Cameraman for the International Cinematographers Guild. Mike earned a BA in Radio/Television/Film and Art History from Northwestern University.
