Product Owner at Arria NLG

Peter Raitt has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Peter began their career at Logica as an Analyst Programmer from 1986 to 1995. Peter then worked at Wang New Zealand/Imaging Solutions as a Technical Consultant, specializing in document management systems, from 1996 to 1999.

In 1999, Peter joined KPMG Consulting as a Technical Consultant for a year before moving to Gen-i as an ECM Principal Consultant based in Auckland. Peter held this role from 2000 to 2006.

Following their tenure at Gen-i, Peter joined StreamFlex in 2008 as a Systems Consultant. Peter was responsible for various tasks, including telecoms mobile tariff plan analysis, testing of client interfaces and system rebilling results, solution deployment and testing, customer training and support, and development of an OCR data capture and transformation project. Peter was also involved in the implementation and management of a multi-server data center environment for online customer systems. Peter stayed with StreamFlex until March 2013.

Most recently, Peter worked at Arria NLG starting in March 2014. Peter initially served as a Senior Test Engineer, predominantly focusing on new AI software projects built using the Arria Natural Language Generation (NLG) platform. Peter conducted quality reviews, end-to-end system testing, non-functional testing, and mentored junior testers.

Starting in February 2018, Peter transitioned to the role of Product Owner for NLG Studio, a SaaS-based authoring platform for building custom NLG applications. Peter collaborated with the product management team, prioritized customer/business needs, and contributed to the product's vision and roadmap.

Peter Raitt completed a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Computer Science from the University of Aberdeen, from 1982 to 1986. Peter pursued further education in the field of software engineering and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma with distinction from Edinburgh Napier University, which they completed from 2007 to 2008.
