Joanna Simmons

Joanna Simmons is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human resources and team leadership across various industries. Currently serving as Head of Driver Training at Arriva UK Bus since August 2023, Joanna previously held the position of Human Resources Manager at Cargill from July 2022 to August 2023. Prior to that, Joanna was the HR Manager at Croda for a brief period in early 2022, and from March 2020 to February 2022, Joanna excelled as Head of Train Presentation at Northern, where leadership was demonstrated over a team of 550 to maintain train cleanliness and presentation. Joanna's earlier experience includes a similar role at Arriva Rail North from 2010 to 2020 and positions such as HR Business Partner and Head of Central Services at G4S Security Services. Joanna began a professional journey at Asda Stores Ltd, where recruitment management roles were held, supported by a BA(Hons) in Human Resource Management from Teesside University.
