Staff Platform Engineer, Team Lead at Arrive Health (formerly RxRevu)

Don Schram began their career in 2011 as a Systems Administrator at Western Michigan University, where they designed and implemented a single-point authentication app and managed virtual and physical servers. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Lab Supervisor at the university, overseeing the acquisition and maintenance of technological equipment for the Engineering Department and supporting research projects for companies like Stryker and Haworth.

In 2017, Schram joined Cerner Corporation as a Linux System Engineer, where they managed and resolved OS and hardware issues, configured Linux nodes using Chef, and conducted migrations of production machines. Don was later promoted to Senior Linux System Engineer, taking on responsibilities such as incorporating open-source solutions into the service delivery infrastructure and mentoring junior engineers on scripting and automation standards.

In 2020, Schram moved to Raytheon Technologies, where they worked as a Senior Automation Engineer. Their role focused on automation and optimizing processes within the organization.

Currently, Schram is working at Arrive Health (formerly RxRevu) as a Staff Platform Engineer and Team Lead. Their responsibilities include leading the DevOps team as well as serving as a technical lead for platform engineering.

Throughout their career, Schram has demonstrated expertise in various areas such as system administration, automation, infrastructure architecture, and mentoring.

Don Schram attended Western Michigan University from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. In 2014, they returned to Western Michigan University to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science, which they completed in the same year.
