Darshan Patel

Darshan Patel is currently an Investment Partnerships Analyst at Arrived. Darshan has previously worked as the Director of Product Management at Wind River from September 2012 to August 2018. In this role, they were responsible for the customer experience, feature roadmap, and marketing for Wind River's products. Darshan also oversaw the Wind River Marketplace, an app store for partner add-ons.

Prior to their time as Director of Product Management, Darshan was the Head of Commercial Operations for the Operating Systems Business Unit. In this role, they were responsible for global product marketing and sales enablement for 11 products within the VxWorks and Wind River Linux product families. Darshan also led the user experience redesign for the entire customer flow from order confirmation through installation.

Before their time in the Operating Systems Business Unit, Darshan was the Director of Product Management for the Open Source and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS). In this role, they managed the product and P&L for Wind River's Linux and RTOS offerings for smart, connected devices. Darshan also served as the product marketing and business operations lead in Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Industrial, Healthcare/Medical, Mobile, Networking, and Telecom industries.

Darshan's first role at Wind River was as the Director of Product Management for the Android Product Line. In this role, they were responsible for Android product management, strategy, development, marketing, and sales enablement. Darshan also developed customized versions

Darshan Patel earned a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
