Jim Kapparos

Jim Kapparos has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Jim started their career in the US Marine Corps as a Marine from 1985 to 1993. Jim then worked at Ameritech Securitylink as a Commercial Sales representative from 2000 to 2001, marketing fire and security systems to commercial customers. From 2001 to 2004, Jim worked at System Sensor as a Regional Sales Manager, responsible for selling fire products and conducting strategic planning in the Southeast US and Caribbean region. Jim then held the role of National Sales Manager in the Commercial Business unit at System Sensor from 2004 to 2006, where they were accountable for profitability and market share growth. From 2006 to 2009, Jim served as the Business Development Manager at System Sensor, leading national account management and vertical market expansion strategies. Jim also developed a successful training organization targeting the engineering and design communities. In 2010, they became the National Sales Manager for HVAC products at System Sensor, where they managed product and channel sales. From 2014 to 2015, Jim served as the Director of Sales for HVAC products at System Sensor, responsible for overall operations and sales strategies. In 2015, they briefly held the position of President & CEO at Trox USA, overseeing the company's day-to-day operations. From 2016 to 2017, Jim worked as the Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Bureau Veritas, providing leadership and coordination of marketing and sales functions. In 2017, they held multiple roles including Managing Director of M&S and Managing Director of Sales & Marketing at Arrowhead Brass, as well as the role of President at IBP Group North America.

Jim Kapparos holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the University of Maryland. Jim has also obtained a Six Sigma Greenbelt certification in 2004.
