Ken Overton

Ken Overton has a diverse and extensive work experience in data management, database architecture, and data engineering. Ken worked as a Director of Data Management at Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, Inc., where they were responsible for overseeing data management activities. Prior to that, they served as a Database Architect at ESET North America, where they re-architected ETL processes, audited SSRS reports, and collaborated with various departments to gather data requirements. Ken also worked as a Senior Data Engineer at Reflexion Health, creating a data anonymization process to adhere to HIPAA standards. Before that, they served as a Database Manager at The UPS Store, Inc., leading the implementation of the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Ken has also worked as a DBA Consultant, Database Administrator/Manager of Software Development, Database Architect, and DBA at various companies, where they provided database solutions and implemented backup strategies, optimized data import processes, and designed database architectures. Ken is skilled in various database tools and technologies, including SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS. Ken's work experience spans from 2001 to 2020.

Ken Overton attended Tabernacle Christian Academy from 1972 to 1988. During this time, they did not obtain a degree nor pursue a specific field of study. Following that, from 2000 to 2010, Ken attended Coleman College where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems, completing their degree in October 2010.
