Tamara Loper has a diverse and extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Starting in 1993, they worked for Carnegie General Insurance Agency as an Underwriter/Underwriting Supervisor. Tamara then moved on to Arrowhead General Insurance Agency where they held various roles, including Business Analyst and Underwriting Supervisor. In 2003, they returned to Carnegie General Insurance Agency as an Underwriting Manager. In 2005, they joined Arrowhead General Insurance Agency again, but this time as a Forms Specialist. Tamara Loper then transitioned to their own consulting business, Tamara Loper Consulting in 2009 and took on roles as a Consultant for various clients. In 2010, they joined Multi-State Insurance Services, Inc. as a Product Manager and later became the Director of Business Analysis and Compliance and then Vice President, Product Analysis and Compliance. Tamara continued their consulting work at Tamara Loper Consulting from 2016 to 2017. Currently, they hold the role of VP, Commercial Operations and Compliance at Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, Inc.

Tamara Loper, CPCU, CIC, ARe, ARC, AU-M, CCP, AIAF, AIS, holds an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Social and Behavioral Science from Ventura Community College. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including the Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF) from the Insurance Institute of America in September 2023, the Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research in June 2022, and the Certified Compliance Professional from the Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals in October 2017.
