Bellone Fabien has extensive experience in addiction counseling, serving as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor at John Brooks Recovery Center since October 2010, while also working as a Substance Abuse Counselor at Addiction Recovery Systems since March 2020. Previously, Bellone held the position of Managing Director at Pregnancy Crisis Services Inc. from March 2017 to December 2018. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Science of Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Healthcare Administration and Health Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. Certifications include BSHIS, MSAC, Marriage and Family Therapy, and LCADC.

Harm reduction approaches have been effective in reducing morbidity and mortality. Harm reduction is a strategy that aims to reduce the harms associated with certain behaviors. When applied to substance abuse there is a focus on reducing negative consequences, and aims to increase health, social and economic outcomes. (NIH, 2008)
