Joelle Marquis

Joelle Marquis is the Senior Advisor of Human Capital at Arsenal Capital Partners, a leading American private equity firm. Joelle has over two decades of experience in human resources and has held senior positions at some of the world's largest companies.

Marquis began their career in human resources at Big Y Foods Inc., where they spent seven years as the Director of Human Resources. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of the company's HR function, including recruitment, training, and employee relations.

After leaving Big Y, Marquis spent a year as the Director HR and internal consultant at National Grange Mutual, Main Street America. In this role, they provided HR support and advice to the company's management team.

In 1998, Marquis joined Information Systems and Services as the VP and GM. During their three-year tenure at the company, they oversaw a $1.5 billion increase in admitted assets in the property and casualty insurance business.

In 2001, Marquis joined Baltimore Technologies Inc. as the VP HR and COO. Baltimore Technologies was one of the world's leading "e-security" companies, with a strong portfolio of software-based security systems. Marquis was responsible for all aspects of the company's HR function, including recruitment, training, and employee relations.

After leaving Baltimore Technologies, Marquis joined Arsenal Capital Partners as the Senior Advisor of Human Capital. In this role, they are responsible for advising the firm on all aspects of human capital management.

Joelle Marquis first earned their BSBA in Management from Western New England University. Joelle then went on to complete an Executive Program in Management at the University of Michigan. Finally, they earned their MSOD in Organizational Development from American International College.
