James King

James King is the Director of Football Operations at Arsenal F.C., where they hold executive responsibility for all football operations and administration across the club. Previously, James has served as General Counsel and part of the Executive Team at the Professional Footballers' Association, overseeing strategic development and key stakeholder relationships. They have also held various legal positions, including Senior Legal Counsel at Arsenal F.C. and Associate at Mishcon de Reya. Currently, James is involved in academia as a lecturer at LALIGA and the ITTI Sports Institute, while serving on the Advisory Committee for the Athlete Data Lab at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. James completed an MA at the University of Oxford and holds multiple certifications in law and management.
