Diane Ashcraft

Diane Ashcraft's work experience begins with their role as an Undergraduate Researcher at Lehigh University in 2010. Diane then worked as a Civil Engineering Technician Assistant at Rowan University from 2008 to 2011. From 2011 to 2013, Diane worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Delaware, where they conducted a project analyzing the system strength of bridges.

In 2013, Diane joined Urban Engineers, Inc. as an Engineer in Training before transitioning to their position as a High School Engineering Design Teacher at Newark Charter School from 2014 to 2017. During this time, they taught various PLTW courses and managed the classroom.

Starting in 2018, Diane worked at Defense Sciences, Inc. as a Structural Engineer, where they fulfilled multiple roles. Diane served as the Explosives Team R&D Lead and Shift Lead, overseeing a team of engineers and coordinating projects related to explosive threats and structural engineering. Diane also worked as a Reachback Analyst at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, utilizing software to analyze different threats against the US and allies.

Most recently, Diane joined ARServices in 2022 as a Technical Project Manager. The details of their current role and responsibilities have not been specified.

Diane Ashcraft completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil and Environmental Engineering, with a minor in Mathematics, at Rowan University from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Delaware, where they earned their Master of Civil Engineering degree in the field of Civil Engineering from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their degrees, Diane Ashcraft obtained the Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) certification from NCEES in October 2009.
