Jennifer May

Associate Chair, Designmatters & Social Innovation at Art Center College of Design

Jennifer May is an accomplished leader in social innovation with extensive experience at ArtCenter College of Design. Since May 2013, Jennifer has served as the Associate Chair of Designmatters, where responsibilities include transforming social innovation design into a comprehensive educational department and overseeing the first formal curricular assessment for design for social innovation. Previous roles at ArtCenter include Executive Director and Director of Designmatters, during which Jennifer managed diverse partnerships and curricular projects that align art and design with social impact. Jennifer also has experience in event management and leadership development through positions at organizations such as Coro Southern California, ExED, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Jennifer holds an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business and a BA in Theater Arts Management and Marketing from Emerson College.
