Monica Schlaug

Monica Schlaug currently serves as the Associate Chair of the Graphic Design BFA program at ArtCenter College of Design, where responsibilities include curriculum planning, faculty management, student advising, and industry partnerships. Monica has extensive teaching experience as a Professor and former Adjunct Instructor, focusing on branding and packaging courses within various Design programs. Prior roles include Senior Design Director at John Paul Mitchell Systems, where leadership involved mentoring the Creative Department, and previous positions as a Creative Director, Senior Art Director, and Designer across several notable design firms. Monica holds a joint degree in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art College and the University of San Francisco.
