Carol Coughlan has a wide range of experience in the field of reproductive medicine and gynecology. Carol is currently serving as the Medical Director at ART Fertility Clinics in Dubai. Prior to this, Carol held positions as a Consultant Gynaecologist and Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine & Surgery at IVI Middle East Fertility & Gynaecology Clinic, Bourn Hall Fertility Clinic Dubai, and Human Assisted Reproduction Ireland (HARI) at the Rotunda Hospital. Carol has also worked as a Clinical Director at Rotunda IVF. Earlier in their career, Carol gained experience as a Senior Registrar in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Cork University Maternity Hospital and as a Subspecialty Trainee in Reproductive Medicine & Surgery at Jessop Fertility. Carol also worked as a Clinical Research Fellow in Reproductive Medicine at Jessop Fertility/University of Sheffield. Carol began their career as a Registrar in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Rotunda Hospital and University College Maternity Hospital Galway.
Carol Coughlan received a Bachelor's Degree in Medicine from University College Cork between 1990 and 1997. Carol then pursued a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in Reproductive Medicine at the University of Sheffield in the UK from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at St Angela's College, St Patricks Hill in Cork City between 1986 and 1990.
