Jim Shedden

Curator, Special Projects & Director, Publishing at Art Gallery of Ontario

Jim Shedden has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jim started their career at the Art Gallery of Ontario in 1989 as a Curator and Programmer. Jim later joined Bruce Mau Design in 1998 and held various positions including Vice-President and Creative Producer. In 1994, Shedden ventured into filmmaking as a Producer and Director of documentaries. Jim also worked as the Music Director at the Toronto Botanical Garden from 2011 to 2013. Shedden co-founded ARTBOMB in 2011 and served as a Co-Founder until 2013. Shedden then returned to the Art Gallery of Ontario in 2010 as the Curator, Special Projects, and Director of Publishing. Jim also managed the Gallery's publication program and curated various exhibitions. Overall, Shedden's work experience is diverse and encompasses roles in curation, publishing, filmmaking, design, and music.

Jim Shedden earned their M.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Toronto - Innis College between 1982 and 1990.
