Louis Cohen has a diverse work experience spanning art direction, design, and creative leadership roles. Louis is currently serving as an Associate Director of Creative at the Art Gallery of Ontario since 2022. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2022, they worked in art direction and design.
Their longest tenure was at MLSE (Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership) from 2012 to 2021, where they led a 15-person creative team for flagship MLSE brands, working on creative strategy, campaign development, brand management, and more. Louis has also worked as an Art Director and Designer at Cleansheet Communications from 2006 to 2011, where they created experiences and developed brand stories for various clients. Before that, they worked as an Art Director at Rogers Communications from 2005 to 2006, focusing on editorial design for healthcare and financial brands. Louis started their career as a Graphic Designer and Print Production at Echo Advertising from 2002 to 2004.

Louis Cohen has completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) with Honours in Visual Art and Art History from Western University and a Bachelor of Design (BDes) with Honours in Graphic Design and Visual Communications from York University / Sheridan College.
