Michael Peroff

Director, Plant & Building Infrastructure at Art Gallery of Ontario

Michael Peroff has extensive work experience in plant and building infrastructure management. Michael began their career in 1987 as a Senior Building Operator at York University and worked there until 1993. In 1993, they joined the Art Gallery of Ontario, where they held various roles focused on overseeing the operation and maintenance of the physical plant and building infrastructure. This included responsibilities such as managing budgets, leading projects, and ensuring environmental control. Michael is currently serving as the Director of Plant & Building Infrastructure at the Art Gallery of Ontario, where they provide leadership and direction in this area.

Michael Peroff completed their education in a chronological order as follows:

- From 1982 to 1985, they attended Cambrian College and obtained a degree in Power Engineering Technologist, specializing in Engineering.

- In 1986 and 1987, they studied at Northern College of Applied Arts & Technology where they received certification as a Gas Fitter 2, focusing on Gas equipment installation and design.

- From 1999 to 2002, Michael attended the Building Owners & Managers Institute and obtained a degree as a Facility Management Administrator in the field of Facility Management.

- In 2007, they became a Certified Member of the Joint Health And Safety Committee through their studies at The Education Safety Association of Ontario, specializing in Occupational Health and Safety.
