Amina Khan is an experienced editor and instructor with a strong background in creative writing and art history. Currently serving as Editor of Communications at the Art Institute of Chicago since November 2022, Amina also holds an instructional role at Purdue University, teaching courses in creative writing and rhetoric since August 2020. Additionally, Amina is an instructor with Ellipsis Writing Workshops and previously managed editorial operations at Sycamore Review. Amina's past roles include Art Editor at Kajal Magazine, Curatorial Fellow at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and Research Fellow at Theaster Gates Studio, where extensive research and grant writing contributed to various projects. Amina's experience further includes a curatorial internship at the Guggenheim Museum and a library and archival internship at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia. Amina earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and English from Emory University.
