Johannes Nussbaum has a diverse work experience with various roles and responsibilities. Johannes started their career as a Werkstudent at Art-Invest Real Estate from February 2011 to September 2013, where they worked in transactions and asset management. Johannes then became an Investment Manager in asset management at the same company from September 2013 to December 2014. Following that, they served as an Investment Manager in transactions from January 2015 to October 2017. Johannes then took on the role of Head of Innovation at Art-Invest Real Estate from November 2017 to June 2022. Currently, they work as the Head of Direct Investments at Art-Invest Real Estate from June 2022.
In addition to their roles at Art-Invest Real Estate, Johannes Nussbaum has also held positions at other organizations. Johannes worked as a Geschäftsführer at smartengine wtec from September 2018 to August 2020. Johannes was a Dozent at IREBS Immobilienakademie GmbH starting from February 2021. Johannes also serves as a Vorstand at PropTech Powerhouse e.V. since October 2021.
Johannes Nussbaum's education history includes a Master of Science (MS) degree in Betriebswirtschaftslehre (Business Administration) from the University of Cologne, which they completed from 2007 to 2013. Johannes also pursued further education at Esade, where they obtained a CEMS Master in International Management degree from 2012 to 2013. In addition, they attended IREBS Immobilienakademie GmbH from 2015 to 2016 and received a degree in Immobilienökonom (Real Estate Economics).

Art-Invest Real Estate is an experienced investor, developer and asset manager operating across key gateway cities in Germany, Austria and the United Kingdom.
