James Allen

James Allen is the founder of Time Based Arts, a role they have held since 2008. They are also the founder of Art Practice, established in 2022 and ongoing. Their career includes senior flame artist roles at VTR (2004–2007) and The Filter FX (2003–2004), along with flame artist work at Condor Post London (2000–2002) and Condor Post (1998–2000). They earned a Post Grad in Electronic Imaging from Duncan of Jordanstone College, Dundee University (1997–1998) and a BAHons in Time Based Media from Kent Institute of Art and Design (1994–1997).
