Spencer Phillips

Spencer Phillips is an experienced arts and culture professional currently serving as the Executive Director of Art Starts, where responsibilities include overseeing operations, fundraising, community engagement, and program development to enhance the organization's profile in Toronto's arts sector. Prior to this role, Spencer held various positions at Artscape, including Senior Lead Manager for Community Partnerships & Activations, along with program management roles. Additional experience includes serving as Creative Director at Wimbo Media, Program Manager and Communications & Outreach Coordinator at UrbanArts, and roles focused on communications and member services within the Coalition for Music Education and the Canadian Federation of Musicians. Spencer's educational background includes a degree in Arts Management from Harris Institute.
