Kim Harrell is a skilled silversmith and jewelry designer who has been running their own business since September 1997. Kim is also involved in teaching workshops at various organizations, including the Art Students League of Denver and the Community College of Aurora. In addition, Kim has held roles such as Board President at the Colorado Metalsmithing Association and Program Director at Arts for Colorado/Colorado Citizens for Culture. Kim's background includes a BA in Silversmithing, Jewelry, and Allied Crafts from London Metropolitan University.
Art Students League of Denver
The Art Students League of Denver is an inclusive art community where professional artists guide individuals of all abilities to reach their highest potential. As a nonprofit and non-accredited arts organization, ASLD provides every student the opportunity to study with regionally and nationally recognized working artists in a wide selection of media. There is no set curriculum, so students are free to explore and delve into areas of particular interest. Our class structure allows students the freedom to take courses that fit their schedule through weekend workshops, multi-week workshops, and ongoing month-by-month courses. We also offer a variety of additional programming each session including exhibitions, artist lectures, and community events. In all studio classes, instructors have the capacity to facilitate individualized learning in a style that fits their personal philosophy and integrates demonstrations, study of master artists and critique.
